1. Apart from rectifying some of our current problems, I think what we need to move on to next is focusing on the event. The magazine is important but it feels a little bit insular, we need to open up and move onto the bigger picture. What I think we need for next week is some visuals and plans of what we will install in which space, how we will decorate and project, amplify and engage.
2. Issues with the look of the magazine: is it too "dry" as John commented? Personally I think it looks nice, but we need people to realize that the contents are vibrant. I will try and solve this problem. I think the structure of the magazine is great and very well-made — good job Sophie.
3. I forgot to explain the structure (i.e. The CC - FLAT - HIVE union). I think we will need to explain succinctly and precisely what these orgnisations are and how they interact with one another without it becoming too wordy and boring.
4. My other main issue is with overall quality of the objects we are producing. I can appreciate that what we have made thus far have all been prototypical but some of them really need to be up to "shop bought" quality now.
5. Please pay close attention to our identity kit and any changes that are made in the future. The closer we can all stick to the visual guidelines (particularly regarding typeface use, illustration style etc) the more unified our outcome will be which is the holy grail of group work really, trying to get five people with completely different tastes and talents to produce something in a coherent fashion.
