this functions as a calendar but i feel it could be improved in the following ways:

can it be more "keepable"? at the moment it is quite long and unnecessarily unweildy. if it folded up into a self-contained package maybe it would be better for a wallet. also developing it so that it is an event calendar detailing all the other events that are going on - could have colour-code for different genre of events - this would make it intrinsically more useful, people will keep it and the all-important hive event will be publicized further.

can it explain somewhere more about the hive event. at the moment it is simply an arbitrary date that is highlighted.

lucia was working on what looked like a comprehensive events calendar that you could borrow from her.

yeah i really like the idea of having it fold down on the event date, just put this version up to keep a log of idea on the blog. How big do you think it could be and still be useful rather than awkward?

I'll work on a bigger version that can hold more information and that folds better

it would be could if you the calendar andrew! there are events everyday and it's necessary to put what, where, when and maybe the price, so it's need a lot of space, I think should be like a list!

and if we want to do a flyer for the event, i would suggest that it says what is going on this date, not just the date!

-what i understood was that chris liked the yellow one, right?

good night!

yeah he likes mike's yellow "design your own instrument form" but also liked the way the date was made from the day squares

yeah there needs to be more room but this was just an idea always best to show the development

no mate its all good, i agree it needs to be bigger (but at the ame time smaller if u know what i mean) and i really like the idea of it folding down onto the 20/02/09 but at the moment i'm stuck on how to do that as the only way i can think of is a large rectangle that once unfolded would never go back. That would be ok if it was a poster i guesd, something we need to sort out next time we meet probably
